Le Petit Mouton de Mouton Rostchild 2014

Pauillac

-

The nose is fine, elegant and currently a bit closed. It reveals fine notes of juicy blackberry, blueberry and strawberry associated with hints of undergrowth, a discreet hint of gray pepper, fine / discreet hints of toasted / caramelized oak and a very discreet hint of Sichuan pepper and a fine hint of smoke. The mouth is fruity, mineral and offers dynamism, a nice silky matter, depthness, a nice acid frame (on red fruits) as well as a nice roundness. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of blackberry cream, cassis and fine notes of strawberry combined with a discreet note of redcurrant, hints of toasted oak, licorice, fine tobacco and graphite.

Tannins are fine and juicy. Beautiful persistence.
