The nose is elegant and relatively aromatic. It reveals notes of undergrowth, coffee and slight hints of truffle, fleshy strawberry and blackberry associated with touches of mocha and wood/vanilla. The palate is fruity, mineral, racy, round, elegant, well defined and offers a good volume, fat as well as suavity. In the mouth this wine expresses notes of blackberry, plum and sour cherry associated with touches of wild strawberry / wild berries as well as touches of chocolate, tobacco and coffee. Tannins are fine, elegant and well-built. Good length. The finish / persistence is suave.
