Jacques Charlet Les Charmes 2015
Morgon
The nose is aromatic. It reveals notes of boysenberry, plum and slight hints of blueberry, crushed raspberry associated with a discreet hint of nutmeg, spices and a very discreet hint of gray pepper. The palate is fruity, sleek, fine and offers an acid frame, fleshy, density, a slight smooth, gourmandize and offers a beautiful matter and definition. In the mouth this wine expresses notes of crushed blackberry and cassis jam associated with slight hints of redcurrant, strawberry as well as a hint of liquorice, coffee and a discreet hint of toasted/vanilla. Tannins are young and very slightly dry. Good length.
