Morgon

The nose is quite intense and offers a slight concentration. It reveals notes of sour cherry, plum and chocolate associated with a touch of violet/ cornflower, roasting and a woody hint. The wine needs to be decanted (carafe). The palate is fruity, sleek, silky, well-balanced and offers an acid frame, a slight freshness, a slight tension, a small aerial aside as well as a slight intensity. In the mouth this wine expresses notes of juicy raspberry, cherry and slight hints of blueberry, plum associated with a discreet hint of cherry stem, liquorice, cardamom, tea as well as a very discreet hint of Cuben pepper, a slight note of dark chocolate and an imperceptible hint of flowers. Tannins are well-built. The persistence is large and offers a slight powerful and suavity. Nice potential!
