Jean Paul Brun - Terres Dorées 2015

Morgon

-

The nose is fruity. It reveals notes of black cherry, plum and slight hints of crushed blackberry associated with slight hints of violet/lilac, Gariguette strawberry, liquorice as well as a discreet hint of cigar/toasted. The wine needs to be decanted (carafe). The palate is fruity, fine, well-balanced, specific, nicely built and offers a slight tension, a beautiful grain (lace!) as well as a slight freshness (frame). In the mouth this wine expresses notes of juicy plum and blackberry associated with slight notes of cassis, red fruits (cherry, red berries) as well as a hint of zan, sweet spices, toasted oak and a very discreet hint of caramelization. Good length.
