The nose is fruity, relatively elegant and slightly gourmand. It reveals notes of cassis cream, crushed blackberry and slight notes of fleshy strawberry associated with hints of toasted oak, vanilla as well as a discreet hint of caramelization. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers fat, a slight acidity as well a a mineral frame. In the mouth this wine expresses notes of crushed blackberry, cassis jam and slight notes of raspberry/cherry associated with hints of mocha/chocolate as well as a discreet caramelized oak and a very discreet hint of nut. Tannins are fine and slightly dry. Good length and persistence. The persistence is suave/gourmand.
