Douro Superior

The nose is aromatic. It reveals notes of blackberry cream, cassis and slight notes of plum associated with notes of spices as well as a hint of pepper, liquorice, cacao and discreet hints of toasted oak. The palate is fruity, mineral, beautifully gourmand and offers a slight acidity, a fresh frame as well as tension. In the mouth this wine expresses notes of blackberry jam, cassis cream and slight notes of fleshy plum associated with a hint a juicy raspberry, slight notes of chocolate, toasted oak as well as a discreet hint of liquorice and an imperceptible hint of black tea. Tannins are fine and well-built. Good length and persistence.
