The nose is fruity, gourmand, full and quite generous. It reveals notes of blueberry, morello cherry and Quetsche plum jam associated with a discreet hint of fleshy strawberry as well as touch of liquorice/zan, cedar and a discreet touch of spices/chocolate. The palate is fruity, fine, sleek, gourmand, well-balanced, suave, round and offers a slight freshness, a slight acid frame, a small deepness as well as a good structure. In the mouth this wine expresses notes of blueberry, crushed Quetsche plum, morello cherry and slight notes of strawberry associated with hints of cherry as well as discreet hints of black olive, liquorice, toasted oak and chocolate. Tannins are fine and elegant. Good length and persistence.
