The nose is aromatic and needs to be decanted (carafe). It reveals notes of mocha, grilled coffee and more slightly notes of blackberry, plum associated with touch of redcurrant jam, slight notes of oak as well as a discreet hint of sweet spices and a slight hint of olive tree/grove. The palate is fruity, mineral, sleek, silky and offers juiciness, a small acid/fresh frame as well as a good definition. In the mouth this wine expresses notes of blackberry jam, cassis and slight notes of red berries jam associated with hints of olive, olive tree, toasted oak as well as a very slight hint of grilled and chocolate. Tannins are slightly dry (slight over-extraction). Good length.
