Blaye Côtes de Bordeaux

The nose is fruity and finely structured. It reveals notes of strawberry, cherry and slight hints of ripe cassis associated with hints of spices. The palate is fruity well-balanced and offers gourmandise, juiciness, a nice fresness and a slight racy minerality as well as a slight fat. In the mouth this wine expresses notes of juicy blackberry, strawberry, raspberry and slight / discreet notes of ripe berries associated with hints of licorice as well as a discreet toasted hint, sweet spices, a discreet oaky notes and hints of cacao on the finish/persistence. Tannins are fine and well-built. There is a slight minerality on the finish. Good persistence.
