The nose is fruity, slightly powerful and offers intensity as well as a discreet freshness. It reveals notes of blackberry, cassis and slight notes of ripe red cherry associated with a hint of crushed wild strawberry, a woody hint as well as discreet hint of thyme, spices and a very discreet hint of gray pepper. The palate is fruity, well-balanced, silky, slightly fleshy and offers a slight freshness, a slight mineral frame as well as a nice structure. In the mouth this wine expresses notes of blackberry, fleshy strawberry and slight notes of cassis associated with a hint of cherry as well as slight woody touches and spices. Tannins are fine. There are slight notes of salin minerality on the finish. Good length and persistence. The finish is relatively suave.
