Focus on sweets : A great vintage full of balance & finesse !

2016 is in a style less rich / opulent, less fat and offering a less acidity than on some of the last vintages.

In my opinion, the 2016 vintage offers a beautiful balance (full of finesse) between tension, freshness, fine acidity and ripe (but also fresh) fruits. Note that on some properties the fruit is a bit over ripened. They offer a nice fineness as well as a nice capacity of aging. There are beautiful achievements such as Yquem, Doisy-Daëne, Rabaud-Promis…
