Champagne Bollinger La Grande Année - Rosé 2005 - Brut

The nose is fine, elegant, straight, classy, slightly gourmand and offers much elegance. It reveals notes of lemon, fresh apple and slight hints of crushed peach, fresh raspberry associated with a subtle hint of fresh cassis as well as a discreet toasted hint/brioche on the background and a subtle vinous hint. The palate is fruity, well-balanced, elegant, precise, perfectly straight and offers tension, a slight acid frame, gourmandise as well as suavity. In the mouth this Champagne expresses notes of raspberry/ fresh strawberry, fresh/ripe pear and slight notes of ripe vine peach, ripe lemon associated with a subtle/discreet hint of kumquat, brioche as well as a very discreet/imperceptible hint of butter (in the background) and a subtle vinous hint. Good length. Beautiful aromatic, suave and gourmand persistence.
