Champagne Besserat de Bellefon Cuvée des Moines 2006 - Brut

The nose offers a slight freshness and gourmandise. It reveals toasted notes, small yellow fruits, quince and a slight grilled hint associated with discreet hints of sweet spices, a subtle hint of cumin as well as very discreet hints of apricot and a touch of vanilla. The palate is fruity, wellbalanced and offers an acid frame, fat, roundness, tension as well as a slight minerality (in the background). The effervescence is creamy. In the mouth this Champagne expresses notes of quince, small yellow stone fruits and hints of ripe white fruits associated with a discreet hint of ripe citrus as well as small notes of toasted, vanilla, sweet spices and a very discreet grilled oak. Good length.
