The nose is fine, elegant, very slightly creamy and offers gourmandis­e as well as a slight straightne­ss. It reveals notes of ripe white fruits (apple, pear) associated with discreet hints of vanilla flowers, a discreet hint of quince as well as a woody hint, a subtle hint of spices and an impercepti­ble hint of dark chocolate (in the background). The palate is fruity, wellbalanc­ed and offers a slight acid frame, fat, a slight suavity, straighnte­ss as well elegance. In the mouth this wine expresses notes of fresh apple, brugnon and slight notes of ripe pear associated with a discreet hint of quince, quenette, a slight hint of green lemon zests (in the background) as well as discreet hints of toasted oak, vanilla, a very discreet hint of sweet spices and an impercepti­ble hint of pâtisserie­s. Good length.
