Albert Hertz - Riesling 2013 - Pfersigberg

Alsace Grand Cru

-

The nose is fresh and powerful. It reveals notes of quince, fresh lemon and ripe/fresh peach associated with touches of silex, smoke as well as subtle hints of apricot (in the background). The palate is fruity, juicy, wellbalanced and offers a beautiful mineral frame, a beautiful/slight adciity, juiciness, roundness as well as gourmandise. In the mouth this wine expresses notes of ripe lemon, fresh yellow fruits and slight touches of fresh kumquat associated with a hint of quince as well as a subtle hint of beeswax and racy minerality. Good length and persistence with a subtle hint of dry fruits.
