Prélude 2014
Blaye Côtes-de-Bordeaux
The nose is fine, aromatic and offers a slight gourmandise. It reveals notes of ripe blackberry, cassis and slight notes of crushed wild strawberry associated with hints of chocolate, vanilla, woody hints as well as a subtle hint of cedar wood and Sichuan pepper. The palate is fruity and offers juiciness, a beautiful gourmandise, a beautiful definition, a beautiful suavity as well as a slight unctuosity. In the mouth this wine expresses notes of fleshy strawberry, fleshy/juicy raspberry and slight notes of crushed
cassis associated with a hint of blueberry, toasted oak and a subtle hint of sweet spices. Tannins are well-built. Good length. There is a very discreet hint of mocha/coffee and caramelization on the persistence.
