Blaye Côtes-de-Bordeaux

-

The nose offers a slight power. It reveals notes of wild blackberry and small berries associated with a slight touch of bell pepper, touches of minerality as well as discreet toasted hints and spices. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers juiciness, suavity, a slight fat, gourmandise, a beautiful fruit as well as a slight acid frame. In the mouth this wine expresses notes of fleshy raspberry, fleshy red berries and fleshy/ripe reducrrant associated with slight notes of blueberry, black cherry as well as a discreet hint of licorice and toasted oak. Tannins are well-built. There is a very discreet hint of caramelization on the aftertaste.
