Château Cap Saint-Martin - Cuvée Prestige 2015

Blaye Côtes-de-Bordeaux

-

The nose is slightly powerful/intense and marked by the Cabernet Sauvignon. It reveals notes of red fruits (redcurrant, wild strawberry…) associa-

ted with slight touches of blackberry as well as a discreet hint of spices, a hint of gray pepper and a subtle hint of licorice. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers fat, juiciness, suavity, a slight acid frame, gourmandise, minerality as well as tension. In the mouth this wine expresses notes of ripe redcurrant, ripe raspberry and slight notes of cassis associated with a hint of cherry as well as discreet hints of licorice, woody hints and an imperceptible hint of mocha (in the background). Tannins are well-built and slightly chewy. Good length and aromatic persistence.
