Château Haut-Meneau 2014
Blaye Côtes-de-Bordeaux
The nose is marked by the Cabernet Sauvignon and offers a slight intensity as well as a small aerial side. It reveals slight notes of flowers, blackberry and cassis associated with touches of flowers (iris, cornflower…), red berries as well as a slight hints of tea and an imperceptible hint of pepper. The palate is fruity, racy, well-built and offers a slight minerality, roundness, a slight gourmandise, a good structure as well as a certain straightness. In the mouth this wine expresses notes of fleshy strawberry, red berries and slight notes of cassis associated with hints of toasted oak, slight touches of flowers as well as a discreet hint of licorice, spices and a slight hint of dark chocolate. Good length.
