The nose is aromatic and offers a slight elegance, a slight intensity as well as a slight straightne­ss. It reveals notes of red berries, wild strawberry and discreet hints of cassis associated with hints of fleshy blackberry as well as a subtle hint of toasted oak, a very discreet hint of carameliza­tion and hints of flowers. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers juiciness, a slight mineral frame, a slight acidity, fat, straightne­ss as well as a slight tension. In the mouth this wine expresses notes of fleshy strawberry, ripe redcurrant and slight notes of cassis associated with hints of flowers, licorice as well as a slight toasted oak. Tannins are well-built. Good length and persistenc­e. There is a slight bitterness on the aftertaste.
