Château Les Tours de Peyrat - Cuvée Prestige 2015
Blaye Côtes-de-Bordeaux
The nose is aromatic and quite elegant. It reveals notes of ripe blackberry and slight notes of cassis, wild strawberry associated with hints of licorice as well as a slight touch of dark chocolate and a subtle hint of spices. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers juiciness, a slight acid frame, gourmandise, a slight freshness as well as tension. In the mouth this wine expresses notes of fleshy/juicy blackbery, ripe/fleshy redcurrant and slight notes of cherry, raspberry associated with toasted hints, licorice as well as a very discreet hint of chocolate and an imperceptible hint of roasting. Tannins are well-built. Good length.
