Château Haut Prieur 2015

Blaye Côtes-de-Bordeaux

-

The nose is slightly gourmand and slightly powerful/concentrated. It reveals notes of fleshy blackberry, vanilla oak and slight touches of strawberry associated with a discreet hint of crushed cassis, coconut and caramelizaiton. The palate is fruity, well-balanced, sleek and offers juiciness, a slight minerality as well as a small fat. In the mouth this wine expresses notes of fleshy blackberry, cassis and slight notes of toasted oak associated with a hint of vanilla as well as an imperceptible hint of coconut. Tannins are well-built and slightly chewy. Good length.
