Château de Saint-Pey 2014

Saint-Emilion Grand Cru

-

The nose is fresh and aromatic. It reveals notes of red berries, fresh raspberry and slight notes of spices associated with an imperceptible hint of cassis bud, a hint of caramelized oak and a very discreet hint of vanilla. The palate is fruity, suave, well-balanced and offers juiciness, fat, a beautiful freshness, tension, a good roundness as well as a slight unctuosity. In the mouth this wine expresses notes of fresh strawberry, juicy red berries and slight notes of cassis associated with slight notes of blackerry, hints of toasted oak, licorice as well as a a discreet hint of cassis bud and vanilla.

Tannins are fine and very slightly dry. Good length.
