The nose is aromatic and offers a slight freshness as well as concentrat­ion. It reveals notes of blackberry, slight notes of cassis, a hint of flowers and touches of licorice stich associated with a discreet hint of menthol, truffle as well as slight hints of fresh red berries, a hint of spices and a discreet woody hint. The palate is fruity, well-balanced, suave, mineral and offers gourmandis­e as well as a nice freshenss. In the mouth this wine expresses notes of fresh raspberry, ripe red berries, cassis and slight notes of plum associated with discreet woody hints, licorice and sweet spices. Tannins are fine, racy and well-built. Good length and persistenc­e. The persistenc­e is relatively gourmande.
