Clos de L’Oratoire 2014
Saint-Emilion Grand Cru Classé
The nose is fine, elegant and slightly gourmand. It reveals notes of blackberry and slight notes of caramelized oak associated with slight notes of flowers, discreet hints of wild strawberry as well as a discreet hint of spices. The palate is fruity, slightly juicy, well- balanced, chewy and offers a slight gourmandise, suavity as well as a slight tension. In the mouth this wine expresses notes of crushed blackberry and slight notes of violet purple plum, ripe strawberry associated with a discreet hint of violet, slight hints of toasted oak as well as a discreet hint of caramelization and a woody hint. There is a beautiful persistence with, in particular, a very slight hint of pepper.
