The nose is fruity, aromatic, powerful and offers a slight concentration. It reveals notes of dried blackberry, fleshy strawberry, cassis and discreet hints of black cherry associated with slight hints of chocolate, a hint of menthol as well as slight touches of undergrowth, sweet spices and an imperceptible hint of Sichuan pepper (in the background). The palate is fruity, mineral, fresh, well-balanced, suave, slightly fleshy and offers a mineral frame. In the mouth this wine expresses notes of ripe raspberry, ripe wild strawberry and slight notes of cassis, ripe blackberry associated with slight touches of undergrowth, chocolate as well as a hint of truffle, caramelization and a very discreet hint of tea (in the background). Tannins are fine and very slightly dry. Good length.
