The nose is fruity, aromatic, powerful and offers a slight concentrat­ion. It reveals notes of dried blackberry, fleshy strawberry, cassis and discreet hints of black cherry associated with slight hints of chocolate, a hint of menthol as well as slight touches of undergrowt­h, sweet spices and an impercepti­ble hint of Sichuan pepper (in the background). The palate is fruity, mineral, fresh, well-balanced, suave, slightly fleshy and offers a mineral frame. In the mouth this wine expresses notes of ripe raspberry, ripe wild strawberry and slight notes of cassis, ripe blackberry associated with slight touches of undergrowt­h, chocolate as well as a hint of truffle, carameliza­tion and a very discreet hint of tea (in the background). Tannins are fine and very slightly dry. Good length.
