Sauternes, 2ème Grand Cru Classé

The nose is fruity and aromatic. It reveals notes of candied lemon, honey and minerality associated with slight notes of quince, candied mirabelle as well as touches of fresh ginger, a discreet hint of spices and an imperceptible hint of nutmeg. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers a beautiful mineral frame, a slight freshness, a slight acid frame, suavity, straightness, a beautiful fat as well as unctuosity. In the mouth this wine expresses notes of candied lemon, honey and candied quince associated with touches of candied brugnon, candied pear as well as discreet hints of nuts, botrytis, nutmeg and a very discreet hint of candied /crystallized clementine (in the background). Good length.
