The nose is aromatic and slightly powerful/concentrated. It reveals notes of cider, quince and small touches of apple cooked with butter associated with hints of green apple, cooked yellow plum as well as subtle hints of spices, cedar wood as well as an imperceptible hint of leather and white pepper (in the background). The palate is fruity, well-balanced, unctuous, suave and offers a slight fleshy, a slight mineral frame, gourmandise, roundness, tension as well as richness. Full of balance! In the mouth this Calvados expresses notes of cooked yellow plum, cider, yellow apple and more slightly of quince associated with a subtle hint of rancio, leather as well as an imperceptible hint of pepper in the background.
