Jean Cavé 1967
Bas-Armagnac
The nose is fine, elegant, relatively powerful and offers straightness as well as precision. It reveals slight notes of dried grape, hints of dried apricot and a very discreet hint of dried fig associated with slight hints of flowers, spices as well as a discreet hint of gray pepper, discreet hints of caramelization and a subtle mineral hint. The palate is fruity, well-balanced, slightly powerful and offers freshness. In the mouth this Armagnac expresses a subtle hint of date, a hint of toasted oak, caramel as well as a very discreet hint of rancio, peat and a very discreet grilled hint on the aftertaste. Beautiful aromatic persistence.
