The nose is fruity, fine, powerful and elegant. It reveals notes of dried Tangerine zests, peach, candied lemon and slight touches of caramel associated with a hint of quenette, rancio, cedar woody as well as an imperceptible hint of chocolate and vanilla (in the background). The palate is fruity, well-balanced, elegant, straight, aerial and offers a beautiful mineral frame, a very slight acidity, a beautiful tension as well as a slightly fleshy, precise and slightly tight matter. In the mouth this Cognac expresses notes of crystallized Tangerine, dried clementine zests and small touches of crystallized lemon / citrus associated with touches of rancio, caramel, subtle hints of pâtisseries, a very discreet hint of pear in syrup as well as an imperceptible hint of cedar wood, sweet spices and a very discreet hint of candied clementine on the finish. Good length. There is a subtle hint of pepper on the persistence/aftertaste. A gourmandise!
