The nose is gourmand, a bit tight and offers concentration, power, a beautiful finesse / elegance as well as richness. The wine needs to be put in carafe. It reveals notes of cassis and blackberry associated with a small note of crushed strawberry, black olive, wild berries, garrigue, a touch of cornflower / lily as well as small hints of caramelization, tobacco, chocolate and a discreet hint of Cuben pepper. The palate is fruity, well-balanced, elegant, quite subtle and offers a beautiful mineral frame, freshness, juiciness, suavity, a beautiful straightness, an aerial aspect, tension, power as well as a very beautiful, gourmande, silky and fleshy matter. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of fleshy / juicy blackberry, juicy plum and juicy raspberry combined with touches of juicy black cherry, garrigue, black olive as well as a subtle hint of caramelized oak, licorice, chocolate and a discreet hint of tea (on the finish / background). Tannins are elegant and a bit chewy. Good length.
