J. Becher – Straight American Rye Whiskey

The nose is aromatic and quite fine. It reveals notes of peat and slight notes of leather associated with a subtle hint of beeswax, hay (in the background) as well as subtle touches of herbs, subtle/discreet touches of blond tobacco (in the background) and a very discreet hint of dried orange (in the background). The palate is aromatic, well-balanced and offers fat, a slight suavity, a well-balanced power as well as a beautiful guideline. In the mouth this Whiskey expresses notes of candied lemon and slight notes of candied orange associated with small notes of peat, dried herbs, slight touches of dried flowers as well as a subtle hint of anise and spices. Good length and persistence.
