The nose is fruity, powerful (and soft at the same time !), harmonious and offers a certain finesse. It reveals slight notes of wheat, dried lemon, malt and a subtle hint of peat, honey associated with a discreet hint of nutmeg/ cinnamon, a subtle hint of peach, cereals as well as a discreet hint of herbs and a very discreet minted hint. The palate is fruity, well- balanced and offers fat, a beautiful softness, finesse, power as well as a small sucrosity/roundness (cer- tainly due to the Sauternes finish). In the mouth this Whisky expresses notes of dried lemon and Zante currant associated with a subtle hint of wheat, malt, ripe mirabelle, quince paste, spices, woody hints associated with slight hints of honey/vanilla on the finish/persistence and an imperceptible hint of botrytis. Nice aromatic persistence.
