Hepp – Single Malt – Johnny Hepp

Alsace Whisky - France

-

The nose is finely powerful and offers a fine incisive aspect. It reveals notes of crushed pear, oak and dried yellow plum combined with a hint of dried orange, sandalwood as well as a very discreet touch of white pepper, cardamom and spices. The palate is fruity, well-balanced, precise, a bit gourmande and offers unctuosity, straightness, a good structure, a fine freshness (mid-palate) and a fine suavity. On the palate this Whiskey expresses notes of Williams pear, white fruit in syrup and small notes of mirabelle plum associated with a hint of quince, sandalwood, potpourri / dried citrus as well as a subtle / discreet hint of anise and cardamom. There are a very discreet hint of oak and a very discreet hint of pâtisseries on the persistence / aftertaste.
