Sancerre The nose is slightly tight and offers a slight intensity. It reveals notes of wild red fruits, dried redcurrant and small notes of flowers associated with a hint of crushed blackberry, zan, tobacco as well as an imperceptible hint of Sichuan pepper and sweet spices. The palate is fruity, well-balanced, slightly tight and offers a beautiful mineral frame, juiciness, a nice structure, a small fat as well as a very slight/discreet fleshiness in the background. In the mouth this wine expresses notes of fleshy raspberry, redcurrant candy and small notes of blueberry associated with a touch of bay/flowers as well as a subtle hint of zan/licorice and a very discreet hint of tea. Tannins are very slightly firm. Good length.

The wine needs to be put in carafe. The palate is fruity, well-balanced, slightly tight and offers fat as well as a mineral frame. In the mouth this wine expresses notes of fleshy raspberry, fleshy cherry and small notes of fleshy blackberry associated with discreet woody touches and tea. Tannins are well-built and a bit chewy. Good length.

The palate is fruity, well-balanced, well-built, suave and offers a beautiful tension, suavity, a nice guideline/definition, a slight acid frame as well as a small delicacy. In the mouth this wine expresses notes of dried raspberry, wild strawberry and small notes of blackberry/blueberry associated with touches of flowers (cornflower, lily) as well as hints of licorice, Ceylan tea and a subtle touch of caramelized oak. Tannins are well-built. Good length and gourmand/suave persistence.

In the mouth this wine expresses notes of crushed redcurrant, raspberry and small notes of juicy/fresh cassis associated with a touch of violet, bay, licorice, tobacco as well as a discreet hint of spices and a touch of chocolate on the finish. Tannins are young and chewy. Good length. The finish is quite gourmande.
