The nose is fruity, gourmand, precise, racy aromatic and offers depthness, a beautiful definition as well as concentration. It reveals notes of crushed cherry, crushed ripe cassis and fine notes of ripe wild strawberry, blackberry associated with subtle touches of juniper berries, licorice, dark chocolate, a subtle touch of black olive, caramelized oak as well as an imperceptible touch of balsamic, local vegetation, cornflowers and Cuben pepper. The palate is fruity, well-balanced, racy, gourmande and offers a beautiful definition / structure, finesse, a beautiful suavity / fat, depthness, a mineral frame, complexity as well as a slightly unctuous matter. On the palate this wine expresses notes of crushed cassis, black cherry and blackberry associated with small touches of ripe red fruits (red berries, wild strawberry), blueberry, licorice as well as a subtle touch of terroir / earth, black olive, vanilla/toasted oak, a very discreet hint of Cuben pepper, spices, saline minerality (in the background) and almond (in the background). Tannins are well-built. Good length and beautiful persistence. There is a hint of Tonka bean / chocolat on the persistence.
