Toscana

The nose is fruity, intense, elegant and offers a fine incisive side, a fine concentration, gourmandise as well as a beautiful grain. It reveals notes of blackberry, wild berries and gray pepper associated with subtle / discreet hints of tobacco, Sichuan pepper, licorice as well as a very discreet hint of flowers (in the background) and undergrowth. The palate is fruity, wellbalanced, racy and offers minerality, a good definition, an acid frame, a good roundness, a small aerial side as well as a good freshness. On the palate this wine expresses notes of ripe blackberry, dried strawberry and small notes of black fruits associated with touches of liquorice, undergrowth, gray pepper as well as discreet touches of racy minerality, garrigue, a very discreet hint of flowers, tobacco and an imperceptible touch of almond on the finish / persistence. Tannins are fine and (very) slightly chewy. There is an imperceptible hint of salinity on the finish / persistence. There are a hint of hazelnut and an imperceptible touch of balsamic on the finish. Fine gourmandise and very fine chews on the persistence.
