The nose is gourmand, elegant and offers suavity / generosity, complexity as well as a small richness / intensity. It reveals notes of pâtisseries, sandalwood and candied citrus associated with touches of Tarte Tatin, Zante currant as well as a very discreet hint of flowers, anise and chocolate. The palate is fruity, well-balanced, very slightly tight and offers a beautiful richness, gourmandise, a beautiful definition / finesse, generosity, tension, a beautiful elegance / delicacy as well as a fine acidulous frame. On the palate, this Rum expresses notes of pâtisseries, nougatine and sandalwood combined with small notes of Tarte Tatin, cocoa, roasted hazelnuts, candied lemon / pear as well as touches of caramelization cigar and sweet spices. Good length. There is a very discreet hint of pepper on persistence.
