On the palate this wine expresses notes of crushed cassis, blueberry and small notes of strawberry, sour cherry associated with small touches of redcurrant jam, liquorice, chocolate as well as a very discreet hint of pepper (in the background). Tannins are a bit firm and well-built. Good length.

The palate is fruity, fine and offers a small freshness, a small tension, elegance, a bit aerial, a beautiful finesse of the grain, softness/delicacy as well as a slight acidulous frame. On the palate this wine expresses notes of crushed blueberry, crushed boysenberry and small notes of wild strawberry associated with a hint of chocolate, redcurrant jam as well as discreet hints of caramelization and a very discreet hint of caramelized orange. Tannins are fine, very slight tight and a bit firm. Good length.
