The palate is fruity, well-balanced, quite frank, slightly tight and offers a good definition, a slight suavity, precision, a slight straightne­ss, freshness as well as a small mineral frame. On the palate this wine expresses notes of black cherry, crushed cassis and small notes of Quetshe plum associated with slight touches of crushed raspberrie­s, liquorice, chocolate, carameliza­tion as well as a very discreet hint of flowers and Cuben pepper. Tannins are fine and slightly firm. There are hints of cocoa, coffee / almond on the finish / persistenc­e.
