On the palate this wine expresses notes of fleshy/ripe raspberry, fleshy blackberry, small notes of griotte cherry associated with touches of cornflower, violet as well as a subtle hint of juicy plum, liquorice stick, clove as well as discreet hints of tobacco, badiane, chocolate and mushroom. Tannins are elegant and well-built. A very discreet hint of crushed hazelnut on the persistence which brings a very fine chew.
