(48%) The nose is elegant and offers a fine richness, a small aerial side in the approach, a fine/finely tight grain as well as delicacy and power. It reveals notes of orangette, crystalliz­ed orange, small notes of dry citrus associated with a touch of kumquat, candied Mirabelle as well as small hints of apricot, orange marmalade, apricot flowers, fine hints of tobacco, badiane and a discreet hint of pepper. The palate is elegant and offers suavity, gourmandiz­e, a certain generosity, a small power as well as energy, dynamism, a small spheric side, a beautiful touch, a certain delicacy and deepness. On the palate this Cognac expresses notes of candied Mirabelle, caramel peach, small notes of dry yellow grape associated with small touches of orangette, small caramelize­d fruits, dry citrus as well as small hints of dry flowers, rancio, nougatine, tobacco and a subtle hint of toasted hazelnut.

(59,7%) The nose is elegant, powerful, quite aromatic and offers a beautiful definition/purity of the fruit and intensity. It reveals notes of caramelize­d Mirabelle, caramelize­d orange, small notes of candied zests associated with small touches of candied yellow peach as well as hints of rancio, tobacco as well as fine hints of nutmeg, cedar, dry flowers, a discreet hint of cinnamon and a subtle hint of caramelize­d/toasted hazelnut. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers and acidulous frame, tension, power as well as a fine straightne­ss, intensity, precision, energy, fat and a fine unctuosity. On the palate this Cognac expresses notes of Zante currant, orangette, small notes of dry orange associated with touches of caramel peach, caramel pear as well as hints of nougatine, Badiane, cinnamon, roasted hazelnut and a subtle hint of dry white flowers. An impercepti­ble almost menthol hint on the finish/background. Pretty aromas but an alcoholic strength that sometimes takes over.

It reveals notes of dry yellow grape, caramelize­d orange, small notes of caramelize­d apple associated with small touches of quince, Zante currant as well as small hints of pâtisserie, spices and a discreet sappy hint. The palate is fruity, suave, full and a small fat, a fine tension, a fine straightne­ss, gourmandiz­e as well as a very fine unctuosity, a small aerial side, tension, a small fullness and energy. On the palate this Cognac expresses notes of Zante currant, caramelize­d orange, small notes of caramelize­d mandarine associated with small touches of dry lemon, caramelize­d apple, candied peach as well as hints of pâtisserie, nougatine, dry cedar, dry oak, cedar as well as fine hints of rose wood, sap and pepper. Good length. Pretty aromas but an alcoholic strength that sometimes takes over.

It reveals notes of dry yellow grape, dry peach, small notes of dry apricot associated with touches of orangette, dry kumquat as well as hints of rancio, pâtisserie, a discreet hint of orange flowers and nutmeg. The palate is fruity, elegant, well-balanced and offers a beautiful definition, a certain suavity, precision, a polished side (very seducing) and a good guideline. On the palate this Cognac expresses notes of dry yellow grape, orangette, small notes of caramelize­d peach associated with touches of caramel apple, dry orange as well as hints of orange flowers, candied Mirabelle, discreet hints of pâtisserie and dry mild tobacco. Good length.

Cognac Grande Champagne, 1er Cru

The nose is fruity, aromatic and offers a beautiful nesse as well as power. It reveals notes of dried orange zest, mandarin owers, dried lemon zest and small notes of dry green apple associated with discreet hints of rancio, cigar as well as a hint of white pepper, peach blossom and saffron. The palate is fruity, well- balanced and offers a beautiful de nition, a beautiful nesse, suavity as well as a very beautiful nesse of the grain. In the mouth this Cognac expresses notes of Zante currants, crystalliz­ed mandarin orange and small notes of dried orange zest, dried lemon associated with slight hints of owers as well as very slight hints of coffee and grilled oak. Very beautiful persistenc­e. There are very discreet hints of pâtisserie­s and toasted almond on the finish. A very beautiful Cognac!
