We dared to wait before harvesting despite some hesitation and fear due to the September rainfall. The harvest ended in mid-October with a complete phenolic ripeness, healthy grapes with good acidity and rather high sugar

content. We are satisfied despite the difficulty, due to the covid, in finding the manpower.” Luca Sandrone, on the other hand, underlined the importance of being a group of families of such size as to guarantee the control of the entire production process and as regards the harvest that has just ended,

he states: ”It was an early and fluctuating year but Nebbiolo once again has answered very well, confirming why it is perfectly acclimatized in the Langhe. The blow of the tail in those cooler nights when we saw the first snowfalls in the Alps gave us a rich harvest, in quantity and quality. But also richness in colors and polyphenol content. ”
