The nose is aromatic and offers concentration, intensity as well as a fine power. It reveals notes of Bigarreau cherry, ripe wild redcurrants and small notes of wild raspberry associated with touches of black plum, small black berries, hints of liquorice, black olive, caramelization, a discreet hint of pepper, spices as well as an imperceptible hint of saffron (in the background) and sweet spices. The palate is fruity, gourmand and offers precision, energy, tension as well as a fine fat. On the palate this wine expresses notes of pulpy Bigarreau cherry, pulpy purple plum and small notes of wild red berries associated with touches of liquorice / zan, tobacco, vanilla, saffron as well as a subtle hint of pepper (in the background), cocoa and black olive. Tannins are precise. Good length. Presence of discreet hints of almond on the persistence. (2024+)
