[…] On the palate this wine expresses notes of crushed cassis, crushed blackberry, small notes of violet associated with touches of bright cherry, candied small black fruits as well as fine hints of flowers, chocolate, caramelization and a hint of bourbon vanilla. Tannins are precise and structuring. Presence of an imperceptible hint of saffron on the finish. A fine hint of grilled hazelnut and salinity on the finish/persistence.
