Blanc de Blancs – Brut

Born in a peculiar vintage, Jean-Baptiste Lécaillon, chef the cave of the Maison, have been able, once again, to keep in contact with the grapes and morph them into an elegant, round and ageing champagne. There is a terrific juice at the beginning of the sip plus marvellous acidity able to give the right verticality. The severe saltiness suggests this ”Grand Cuvée” is just at the beginning of its path. A mix of 2002 and 2009 if we had to compare to other Cristal. (E.M.)
