The palate is fruity, well-balanced, slightly tight and offers a fine acidulous frame, gourmandiz­e as well as a small tension. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy / fresh blackberry, pulpy cherry and small notes of fleshy blueberry associated with a touch of fresh / pulpy raspberry, cherry blossoms, violet, hints of tonka bean, stick of liquorice as well as a subtle hint of blond tobacco and ripe almond. Tannins are elegant and supple. Good length and persistenc­e.
