On the palate this wine expresses notes of pulpy/fleshy blackberry, pulpy cassis and small notes of fleshy raspberry associated with touches of ripe violet plum as well as hints of violet, mocha, camphor, toasted, cardamom, fine hints of underwood, clove and a very fine hint of hazelnut. Good length. Tannins are very finely firm. A persistence on notes of underwood, pulpy fruits and a very fine hint of tonka bean.
