The palate is fruity, well-balanced, racy and offers a juicy/acidulous frame, fat, fullness, a beautiful lightly unctuous matter, a fine freshness as well as energy and elegance. On the palate this wine expresses notes of pulpy/fleshy blackberry, pulpy cassis and small notes of fleshy raspberry associated with touches of ripe violet plum as well as hints of violet, mocha, camphor, toasted, cardamom, fine hints of underwood, clove and a very fine hint of hazelnut. Good length. Tannins are very finely firm. A persistenc­e on notes of underwood, pulpy fruits and a very fine hint of tonka bean.

The palate is fruity, tight, aerial, elegant, very finely tight and offers a contained power, a fine grain, juiciness, minerality, freshness and a beautiful racy minerality. On the palate this wine expresses notes of wild blackberry, quite ripe wild cassis and small notes of cornflower associated with touches of small quite ripe blue fruits, crushed redcurrant as well as hints of tobacco, camphor, sweet spices and a very discreet hint of chocolate (in the background).
