Domaine Vacheron Le Paradis 2019 Sancerre
The nose is elegant, delicate and offers complexity, a certain deepness and a fine grain. It reveals notes of lime, honeysuckle, small notes of lemon associated with delicate touches of zests, lime and discreet hints of local biotope. The palate is fruity and offers a beautiful controlled freshness, fullness, delicacy, a small controlled power, richness (full of justness), deepness. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy lemon, bright vine peach, small notes of apple associated with touches of acidulous mandarine, zests as well as hints of honeysuckle, verbena, hints of lychee and a discreet hint of acidulous green apple. La Leccia Trebbiano Cantagrillo 2018

In Montespertoli, the new project of the Bagnoli family, which from the Sammontana ice creams, has been dedicating itself to wine for some years, aiming at organic. In Val di Botte in the Chianti area, we find 20 hectares of Sangiovese and Trebbiano, surrounded by woods. The holm oak, chosen as logo, is declined for women to pay homage to the pink component that distinguishes the company. This Cantagrillo is truthful, with good ageing potential; the sip is substantial and has good acidity. Excellent for dining with even more structured dishes. (E.M.)

Cuvée Violette is the pretty, chic and distinguished Syrah expression in Le vieux Pin portfolio. Youthful, perfumed, and delicately fine-laced wine that is the exact definition of elegant. Violette has aromas of black pepper, blackberry and soft notes of black plum. The palate is savoury and refined offering black pepper, blackberry, raspberry and dried herbs with a soft tannic touch and lingering finish. (J.M.)

The nose is fresh, fruity, beautifully racy and offers a good definition, minerality. It reveals notes of lychee, fresh peach, small notes of quince, mesocarp associated with touches of kumquat as well as fine hints of orange, citrus flower. The palate is fruity and offers juiciness, suavity, a mineral frame, acidulous, a beautiful full of finesse definition, precision as well as tension. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy/ripe lemon, kumquat, small notes of quenette associated with touches of yellow peach as well as fine hints of exotic fruits, very fine hints of honeysuckle and a discreet hint of linden. Le Marchesine Secolo Novo Brut Millésimé 2012 Franciacorta
In 47 hectares in Franciacorta not so far from the Iseo Lake, the Batta family produce sparkling wines very personal and respectful of the raw material, exploiting the best and modern technology. This cuvée, after 54 months on the yeast, is very expressive with notes of linden, honey and sweet spices. The palate, is round, creamy, with tension and sapidity. Bassermann-jordan, Riesling Trocken, Forster Ungeheuer Ziegler 2019 Pfalz, Germany
This wine is intensely mineral-driven with notes of flint, cassis, bright citrus zest and a crispy tartness. However, it’s main character resides in the perfectly balanced palate and powerful acidity. There’s a very rich tatse and high freshness with just a touch of phenolic bitterness. It’s explosive in intensity and a wine to remember. (J.M.)
